Clinical Fungi

1. Apply phenotypic and culture-based methods to accurately identify common fungal pathogens encountered in clinical microbiology laboratories.
2. Evaluate the appropriate use of emerging fungal diagnostic technologies, including MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, nucleic acid amplification, and sequencing-based identification methods, to improve diagnostic accuracy and timeliness.
3. Integrate fungal diagnostic results, antifungal susceptibility testing, and antifungal pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles into clinical decision-making to optimize patient management and outcomes.

Mitigation of Relevant Financial Relationships
